Making Trax a brief history

Making Trax is a business that has been working in the field of footpath and track restoration for over 15 years.

Based in Cumbria we operate throughout the British Isles, no job is ever completed until the client is 100% satisfied.

Heath and Safety

We take all health and safety issues very seriously and all staff are trained in First Aid.  We always have both a First Aid box and an accident book on site at all times.  All staff have the relevant digger and tractor driving certificates.  Before the start of any job the client will be handed a copy of the company’s insurance certificate and methods statements and risk assessments relevant to the job.

The Environment

90% of Making Trax work for the past 15 years has been about protecting the environment.

All plant is used with every effort to protect and preserve the local ecology and archaeology.  Fuel for the machinery, if needed on site is always kept in bunded containers parked well away from any water courses.  All tractors and diggers travel with emergency fuel spillage kits.  The work site is always left in a tidy and safe fashion.
